People need to stop freaking out about Twilight and they need to quit that saying it’s ruining literature. That’s NOT true at all. For one thing, at least people are reading. That’s something. Also, no one but little girls take it seriously, and since when do they matter? Another thing, Twilight is entertainment, not art. There is nothing wrong with liking entertaining things, and liking it doesn’t make you a moron. Not all people who enjoy Twilight are complete dumbasses. Honestly, a part of me loves the idiocy of Twilight. I’ve seen New Moon twice, and my mother and I are seeing it again this weekend. I’ve read Tolstoy, Keruoac, Plath, etc, but I’ve also read Meyer. My mother has a college degree and is one of the smartest people I know, but she loves the Twilight saga. My friend Aaron got a 32 on the ACTS and is a fucking genius, and he saw New Moon with me on opening night. People need to chill out and leave this shit alone. If you seriously think that Twilight is ruining literature, encourage little kids to quit reading it and give them a copy of some other book. Or go write your own damn book and shut up. Stephanie Meyer is a bad writer, but hell, if you can do better and make a global phenomenon, I will eat 10 pounds of raw meat.

I completely agree. I’m down with anything that gets kids reading. I read a bunch of SHIT when I was younger (including terribly written vamp porn), but now I’m a reader for life.

Le Château de Noisy (also named Château Miranda) was built by the English architect Milner in 1866 as a summer home for the family of the Count of Liedekerke-Beaufort. The family stayed there until World War 2, when the castle was briefly occupied by the Nazi’s. In 1958, the NMBS (the Belgian railroad company) used it as a home to shelter the railroadmen’s children and wives.

Since 1991 the building is abandoned. The village of Celles tried several times to buy the castle and its ground but the family doesn’t want to take distance of the castle. The building has over 500 windows, which are almost all shattered along with several of the staircases inside. There is still a clock tower of 56 meters tall. The castle is popular amongst urban explorers.
